The Knotstop is an appointment-based spa. This policy helps us respect our guests, therapists, estheticians and the time reserved for each service.

Our Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask that guests provide at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. This gives our team the opportunity to offer the reserved appointment time to another guest.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee if the appointment time cannot be rebooked with another guest.

The Knotstop is by appointment only and is often fully booked. Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you.

Late Cancellation and No-Show Fees

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, and appointments missed without notice, are subject to the following fees when the appointment time cannot be rebooked.

60 Minute Services $35
90 Minute Services $45
2 Hour Services $70
Facials $35

No-show fees are the same as late cancellation fees.

Credit or Debit Card Requirement

A valid credit or debit card is required on file for all appointments to cover possible late cancellation or no-show fees.

  • Nothing is charged in advance for a standard appointment.
  • The card on file may be charged if a late cancellation or no-show fee applies.
  • A card is required even when a guest plans to pay with a gift card.
  • This policy helps protect the time reserved with our massage therapists and estheticians.

Late Arrival Policy

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Because The Knotstop is appointment-based and often fully booked, therapists and estheticians cannot extend service time for late arrivals.

If you arrive late, your service may be shortened and the full service price will still apply.

  • For 60-minute services, guests arriving 20 minutes or more after the scheduled start time may be too late to receive the service.
  • For 90-minute services, guests arriving 40 minutes or more after the scheduled start time may be too late to receive the service.
  • If a guest arrives too late for the service to be performed appropriately, the appointment may be treated as a no-show.

Service time cannot be extended for late arrivals. This protects the schedule and experience of the guests who follow.

Membership Appointments

Membership appointments are subject to the same 24-hour cancellation policy, late cancellation fees and no-show fees as standard appointments.

If a member no-shows or cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice and the appointment cannot be rebooked, the applicable fee may be charged to the card on file.

If the card on file is declined, available package funds or client account credit may be used to cover the applicable fee.

Gift Card Appointments

Gift cards do not waive The Knotstop’s cancellation policy. A credit or debit card is required on file even when a guest plans to pay with a gift card.

  • If a late cancellation or no-show fee applies, the card on file may be charged first.
  • If another payment method is not available, gift card value may be used to cover the applicable fee.
  • Gift card appointments are still subject to late arrival, late cancellation and no-show policies.

Couples, Multiple-Service and Group Bookings

Couples appointments, multiple-service bookings and small group reservations follow the same 24-hour cancellation policy unless a different policy is communicated at the time of booking.

Large group reservations may require a deposit and may be subject to separate cancellation terms. Any group-specific terms will be communicated before the reservation is confirmed.

Illness, Emergencies and Special Circumstances

We understand that illness, emergencies and unexpected situations can happen. Guests should contact The Knotstop as soon as possible if they are unable to make their appointment.

Our team will review special circumstances with care and reasonableness. However, cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice and no-shows may still be subject to the applicable fee, especially when the appointment time cannot be rebooked.

Contacting the spa as early as possible gives us the best chance of rebooking the appointment time and avoiding unnecessary fees.
